Gone Philly in 'Nooga

We traveled to Chattanooga to surround ourselves with Philly-loving folks (who I affectionately call 'Noogats). We donned electrical tape beneath our eyes as well as gear from various Philadelphia teams. We drank Yeungling by the caseload (not really). We rooted as hard as any fan sitting in the stands wearing the Eagles emblem on their chest. But no cheer, nor chant, nor apparently Eagles defense could stop the Cardinals. Our spirits were broken.
The Phillies surprised us in 2008 and we hoped the Eagles would do the same. They made their season longer than anyone expected, so there is nothing left to do now but yell: Let's go Flyers!!!!

Arrested rival?

Was Pam Oliver talking about Plaxico Burress when she asked Philly's Brian Westbrook about his arrested rival for next week's match up? I'm sure she REALLY meant "a rested rival," but who knows, that may have been a wee slip there Pam.
